Review: After Our Kiss by Nora Flite

                                                             Description:
He isn't my savior. He's the man who's here to break me.

I was thirteen when I was kidnapped.

Fourteen when he helped me escape.

Twenty-three before I ever saw him again.

His face is all over the news: he's a wanted man, now. Maybe my memory played tricks on me… but he looks so different. The boy who saved me years ago had a shy smile and dark, soulful eyes full of secrets.

This man has a hard jaw and a harder mouth. Lips that could never whisper sweet promises.

I knew him as a hero—my savior. I refuse to believe he could become a villain.

Not him.

Then he abducts me, proving me wrong.

He tells me he's going to take me apart and put me back together again. Make me what he needs me to be: a plaything for a monster.

It's the fate I escaped when I was fourteen. And that's when I finally understand.

He was never my hero.

He's the man who's going to break me.

i received an ARC in exchange for an honest review
Georgia was kidnapped when she was a young girl. Her lunatic captor was keeping her on the verge of death but one of his sons, Conway, was trying to find the right moment to set her free. After a few months, he finally kept his promise and freed her. Nine years later Georgia tried to live her life to the fullest as normal as she could. Unfortunately, her luck hasn't changed much since she was kidnapped again, but this time it was her savior. He told her he was a monster, that he would get her ready for his father. She was scared but she couldn't believe that the boy who saved her had changed so much. That's why she was doing everything she could to find out the truth. Once she figured it out her hopes of surviving increased. She was going to get out of that nightmare and she would bring with her the ones who deserved it.

A very dark romance. At first, it's quite mild, except her kidnapping it only shows how she survived and the bond she formed with Conway. On the second part, it gets a bit more dark and sexual. There are a few disturbing scenes and towards the end, it gets emotional (at least for me). The storyline is very interesting, easy to follow with a huge twist in the end. It's mostly from Georgia's POV, but there are a few chapters with Conway's as well. There's a good choice of characters, they are different from each other. Even though the girl seems to need help she is the one who actually tries to save the man. This one isn't about a damsel in distress but a good girl trying to save a "bad boy" or a lost boy. I liked it a lot and I will rate it with 4,7 stars!!!
