Review: Born to be Broken (Alpha's Claim #2) by Addison Cain

                                                               Description:
Claire has a score to settle.

Unwilling mate to the brute who viciously conquered her city, she has once again escaped from her Alpha. Hardened by betrayal, cold as the ice outside the Dome, Claire becomes the mission. The Omegas must be freed, no matter the cost.

The price on her head will not deter her; after all, mated and subjugated her life no longer retains value. She can’t eat, she can’t sleep, and she’s running out of time before the inevitable end.

For once, Shepherd finds himself facing an adversary he cannot simply crush, the situation far out of his depth. Desperate to draw his mate back, racked and restless, he is forced to acknowledge that his pregnant Omega is willing to sacrifice her life for her false notion of a greater good.

He holds the key to her compliance and his dying mate’s survival—all he must do is give her exactly what she wants.

                                                                  My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Claire had jumped off and run to the only person she trusted, Corday. Even though she was mentally and physically hurt she wasn't going to back down. Her will to save her people was stronger and no one could stop her. When she realized that Corday and the others weren't going to help her she found another way to plan her attack. Her plan was successful, she freed the Omegas, but soon enough Shepherd found her. He wanted her by his side so bad that he made her an offer she couldn't refuse. For one more time, Claire was trapped by the monster she hated.

It's the second book of the Alpha's claim. In this one we see a broken Claire trying to save the Omegas and stand against Shepherd. Also the fight he puts in order to get her back and make her happy. We get to meet new characters, the background story of some of the old ones and find out about the traitor. I liked the development of the storyline, the only part that irritated me a little was Claire's repeatedly martyr ways, other than that i enjoyed it. I will rate it with 3,5 stars.
