Review: The Billionaire Rancher She Married: A Modern Day Small Town Romance (Evergreen's Mail-Order Brides Book 1) by Marian Tee

                                                                   Description:
"I'm Hilary, but most people call me Harry."
"Why?"
"Kids at the orphanage thought I was a boy at the start, and after that the name stuck...you can call me anything you like though."
"Then I'll call you mine."

Evergreen, Texas’ most eligible bachelor Devon Montgomery does not believe in love, which is why the handsome but cold-hearted ranch owner gets himself a mail order bride who’s sure to be undemanding of his time.
Old-fashioned and hopeless romantic Hilary “Harry” White has never been happier to leave the city and be wife to a hard-working Texan cowboy. Imagine her surprise when she instead finds herself wife to an intimidatingly powerful billionaire rancher instead.
Swept off her feet, Harry thinks it’s happy-ever-after for her…until she realizes that Devon only sees her as a property he’s bought to do his bidding.

                                                                My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Devon was a billionaire rancher. He didn't believe in love and he was fed up with his mother's matchmaking. So he decided to order a bride, Hilary White. Devon wanted a quiet woman who wouldn't obsess about material things, and Hilary was exactly like that. From the first moment they met, he felt the chemistry between them. Hilary's dreams came true, she now lived in a place she could call home with a man who adored her. Devon realized that he was developing strong feelings for her and it scared him, so he did something very stupid that hurt her deeply. Hilary was sure that she could never forgive and trust him after that...

It's such a romantic western novel. The plot was simple, there's no drama but it was a little emotional at times(at least for me). I loved the characters, they were exactly like you would expect them: Devon was polite with manners and brooding, while Hilary was purely innocent and sweet. "Opposites attract after all". I think it's the first time that I became so emotional over a story like this one. I fell in love with this book and I can't wait for the rest to come. I will rate it with 5 stars.
