Review: Forbidden Prince (Princes of Avce) by Victoria Pinder

                                                                  Description:
Marcus Aussa is bound by duty to find a bride. The task should be easy enough for the handsome prince, but finding the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with is vastly different from what he’s accustomed to. But when his oldest brother welcomes his new bride and her friend to Avce, Marcus thinks he may have found the perfect woman.

When Renee Brown agrees to escort her best friend on a trip to Avce, she knows it will be the experience of a lifetime. Her theory proves true when she meets Marcus, the crown prince’s handsome younger brother. What begins as innocent flirty turns into a whirlwind summer fling, and she’s okay with that. But their short time together draws them closer than expected – so close that known assassin’s target both. As the danger increases, Marcus’ protective nature takes hold. Now, neither can imagine their lives without the other.

When their time together comes to an end, will they welcome the distance or will they do whatever it takes to be together forever?

                                                                    My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Renee Brown lived with her best friend Kristin and she taught history for a living. She had a huge crush on the prince Marco Aussa, so when her best friend had an interview for the secretarial position of the Crown prince she started dreaming about meeting him. The reality turned out to be better, her friend received a marriage proposal and both of the girls would spend the summer in the palace. Her first meeting with her crush was successful, he seemed to like her as much as she did. Soon they found time to be alone since there was an intense physical attraction. Unfortunately, the enemies of the royal family started attacking them. Renee was so scared, she never imagined the life in the palace would be so dangerous. That's why she decided to flee. Marco found out and hoped that he would convince her to stay and give him another chance.

A contemporary romance with an interesting and different plot. This book managed to have an equal part of romance and suspense. It had one romantic/sexy scene followed by a dangerous yet exciting one. I found that very refreshing, I think it is a nice trick to keep a reader's attention. I really liked the characters. Renee was such a bold girl, so saucy and sweet. Marco's character was the typical prince, he appeared as a playboy but in reality, he was nothing like that. They were quite different but both of them weren't afraid to show and admit their feelings. In general, I liked the book a lot, I totally recommend it. I will rate it for  5 stars!!!
