Review: Sick Fux by Tillie Cole

                                                              Description:
When Ellis Earnshaw and Heathan James met as children, they couldn’t have been more different. Ellis was loud and beautiful – all blond hair, bright laughs and smiles. Heathan was dark and brooding, and obsessed with watching things die.
The pair forged an unlikely friendship, unique and strange. Until they were ripped apart by the sick cruelty of others, separated for years, both locked in a perpetual hell.
Eleven years later, Heathan is back for his girl. Back from a place from which he thought there was no return. Back to seek revenge on those who wronged them.
Time has made Heathan’s soul darker, polluted with hatred and the thirst for blood.
Time has made Ellis a shell of her former self, a little girl lost in the vastness of her pain.
As Heathan pulls Ellis out of her mental prison, reviving the essence of who she once was, down the rabbit hole they will go.
With malice in their hearts and vengeance in their veins, they will seek out the ones who hurt and destroyed them.
One at a time.
Each one more deadly than the last.
Tick Tock.

                                                           My opinion:
Ellis Earnshaw and Heathan James met when they were little kids. He was such a strange kid but for some reason, she was drawn to him. They started playing together and gave nicknames to each other from Ellis' favorite book. She was Dolly and he was Rabbit. After two years everything changed, both kids lost their innocence from the monsters that lurked around. Rabbit tried to protect her but failed, he was too young. Eleven years later he came back to get her. She was an empty person like he expected, but he was going to bring his Dolly and make everyone pay for what they did to her. Their adventures in Wonderland had finally begun, it was time for tea.

Sick Fux is a very dark and twisted novella. It's a beautiful combination of a horror, suspense, and romantic story. The plot is interesting and addicting. It's from the stories that you know something it's going to happen but you can't even imagine what that would be.  I fell in love with the characters. Ellis was such an innocent angelic little girl that turned into a killer Dolly. She was the light to Rabbit's darkness, the yin to his yan. He was her protector and guide to that unique adventure and life in general. My favorite part was her alteration from the empty person to the killer lunatic. This is one of the best dak stories of 2017. Definitely 5 stars from me!!!
