My opinion:
When Rory was seventeen she was dating Matt Reid secretly because her father hated the MC with passion. The day of her mother's death her dad found a way to break them apart. Three years later, just a few months before her twenty-one birthday, she came back. Matt found her and they reunited, this time he wouldn't let anyone interfere. The MC had many enemies and one of them had put a spy inside the club. The brothers weren't happy about it and with the current loss of two members, there was a lot of tension there. They found some leads and got rid of one of their local enemies but the Italians' attack brought more grief to the MC family.
This book contains more grief and it's less fun than the others. It doesn't have any love drama but there are many deaths and gunfights. The story is definitely interesting, it progressed a lot since the last book and leaves clues of what is about to happen in the next one. In the beginning, it's mostly about Rory and Matt but later there are POVs from other couples as well. I'm glad that this series doesn't follow the same pattern for all the books, it makes it more entertaining. I liked it a lot and I will rate it with 4 stars.
