Review: Secret Dad (House of Morgan #5) by Victoria Pinder

                                                                Description:

Elizabeth Morgan’s son was kidnapped. She grew up in boarding schools, never knowing her entire family until after her father died. Now she rejoined the House of Morgan for the connections that her family might yield to help her get her son back. She had no idea that the Miami Dade Police Officer that her entire family depended on was none other than Rafe Soliz, her missing son’s father.

Rafe Soliz knocked on the door of his next case and the last person he ever expected to see stared at him when it opened. Liz from Vegas turned out to be a part of the House of Morgan and his unknown son is now missing. He uses all his detective skills to bring his son home and keep him and Liz safe from whoever is threatening them, but he has no idea how to deal with the fact the gorgeous woman he fathered a child with was actually a Morgan. The House of Morgan is way about his pay grade, and he must deny any attraction between them.

Can Liz convince Rafe that all she ever wanted was a family and together they might be perfect?

                                                              My opinion:
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Rafe Soliz one of the best Miami PD detectives, was going to investigate the kidnapping of Elizabeth Morgan's son. When he met with her, he found out that he was the little boy's father.
He found the boy quickly, now he had to set a routine with Liz so he could get to know his son. Unfortunately, Liz's nightmare hadn't ended yet, the kidnapper starting sending threats. Rafe was determined to solve the mystery once and for all. Staying close to Liz brought memories back and his feelings for her started growing quickly. The problem was that from a young age he learned that he didn't belong in the same world as the Morgans. After what happened at the kidnapper's arrest he realized that he couldn't live without Liz and Brandon. So finally Liz's dream was going to come true, she would have a loving family.

It's a family romance filled with love, suspense, and angst. The storyline is interesting especially the part about the baby. It doesn't contain many erotic scenes so it's perfect for all ages. The romantic part was nice, just not really my preference. My favorite part was the proposal. I would suggest reading the whole series from the beginning otherwise you'll have many questions. In general, it's very nice book, I liked it and I will rate it with 3.5 (mostly for the suspense).
